Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller to join an award-winning M&E Design and Build company who provide project solutions in the Water and Wastewater industries on a contract or permanent basis!

 

Purpose of the role: Our client is seeking an experienced Document controller to join a growing Water and Wastewater business in Sheffield. As a document controller you will be responsible for maintaining the accurate records of company documentation. You could be sorting electronic or hard copies of project documentation and producing reports based on this.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals.

  • Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion.

  • Controlling company and project documentation.

  • Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.

  • Helping in the planning stages of a specific project.

  • Following and improving document control procedures.

  • Conducting regular reviews and document audits.

  • Using computers to organise and distribute documents within a company.

 

Key requirements:

  • Candidates should ideally have experience in a Construction or Engineering setting.

  • Strong administrative skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Packages.

  • Clear communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.
