Fabric Facilities Manager

Management of the day to day Fabric Services works within the CMMS (planned, corrective, reactive).  Planning and supervision of the operation activities regarding Fabric Services at a pharmaceutical plant. You will also be responsible for the technical management of the Fabric services of the contract at their clients site, develop key client relationships and mutually develop and lead a high performance team delivering world class facilities services.


What you'll be doing:

  • Management of site team and co-ordination of activities within scope

  • GMP requirements and compliance is maintained as per site procedures; any deviations are reported and investigated as required

  • Execution of maintenance programme for equipment in scope

  • Lead and direct Fabric services support team to ensure area optimisation and availability

  • Optimisation of all activities within scope

  • Management of sub-contractor activities, working with the Soft Services Manager for works within the GMP areas on site

  • Develop long-term strategic direction in liaison with client and implement as appropriate

  • Identification and filling of roles on team when/if required

  • Reporting of key KPI’s on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Ensure all activities on site are carried out in a safe manner, in compliance with site, local and national rules, regulations, guidelines and site procedures

  • All safety and environmental excursions are tracked, monitored and reported to the appropriate department/body and investigated as appropriate, as per site procedures and statutory requirements

  • Training curricula of each team member is maintained at the required level, and any new/updated training is implemented to relevant personnel.

  • Ensure all team members are qualified for respective roles

  • Identify and implement appropriate training programmes to improve skill sets and develop individual career paths


What we're looking for:

  • Fabric Facilities Management experience – preferably in a Pharmaceutical/ regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Experience of managing Fabric services.

  • Demonstrable Health & Safety experience, in a pharmaceutical or similar type environment

  • Self-motivation, ability to work alone and as part of team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to all levels of organisation in a clear, concise and respectful manner

  • Computer Skills (Excel, Word etc.)
