Are you an experienced Asset Planner who has extensive experience within Water or other Utilities? Have you got experience producing capital maintenance investment plans for above-ground assets? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

My client are an award-winning and very reputable UK Water Company who have a new requirement for an Investment Planner to join them in Somerset. The role will have a high level of responsibility within asset management which will shape long-term investment strategy.

The role:

  • Coordinate the needs and solutions for specific asset types, using asset data and models.

  • Optimising investment based on value, including social and environmental benefits.

  • Manage and refresh portfolio investment plans for assets and programmes of work.

  • Implement the client’s new approach to investment planning using a new application that underpins the maintenance planning process.

  • Ensure maintenance plans are aligned to the asset management framework.

 

What are the requirements for this role?

  • Self-starter who is open to new ways of approaching problems.

  • Strong influencing skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.

  • Proven experience in an asset planning role.

  • Asset management experience in Water or other Utilities.

  • Understanding of ISO55001.

  • Degree qualified in engineering or mathematical discipline.

  • Experience across a diverse range of asset/engineering disciplines.
