My client are an award-winning and very reputable UK Water Company who have a new requirement for a Maintenance Strategy Manager to join them in Somerset. The role will have a high level of responsibility within asset management which will shape long-term investment strategy.

 

The role:

As the Maintenance Strategy Manager, you will report into the Head of Investment Management and work with technical experts to produce strategies to manage the business’ large asset base. You will also play a large role in creating the Business Plan for the next Price Review (PR24).

You will be expected to collaborate with the Asset Strategy Team to define long-term maintenance strategies that will deliver the most cost-beneficial maintenance of my client’s existing asset base. These will need to be translated into asset objectives that inform a 5 year Business Plan, rolling Capital Investment Programme and also annual Operational Maintenance Plans.

 

What are the requirements for this role?

  • Proven experience operating and influencing at a senior/strategic level.

  • Asset Management experience, preferably in Water or other regulated Utilities and M&E discipline experience applying the principles of ISO5501.

  • Engineering or equivalent degree.

  • Experience leading technical staff/teams operating across a diverse rang of disciplines.
