New opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join a reputable Energy Company to undertake a shift pattern, which could include weekends or night shifts. My client is looking for a talented Production Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Wrexham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with their execution capabilities, production capacity and equipment investments. They provide state-of-the-art solutions for high voltage underground and submarine cable links in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

As the Production Supervisor you will get the opportunity to join a rapidly growing team and work on some of the top Energy projects in the world. You will work in a fast-paced environment driving exceptional quality and service for sustainable energy projects.  

As the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the required crewing levels and skills are in place to deliver the forecasted output safely at the right quality, on time and efficiently
  • Supporting and leading the drive to continuously improve the processes.
  • Demonstrating leadership in health and safety, ensuring that the Department’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies are adhered to and objectives are achieved.
  • Deploy Continuous Improvement methodologies in order to improve labour productivity, machine utilisation, material usage and scrap reduction.
  • Leading daily performance meetings with Production Control to determine and agree the production plan, ensuring that all resources are in place to achieve this requirement.
  •  Motivating and developing the team and identify training needs to ensure that availability of skills is not a constraint and provide growth.



  • Preferably educated to HNC or degree level in a technical discipline
  • Significant cable making experience within a multi-process environment
  • Experience of Manufacturing / Operational Management, involving process engineering and / or supervision of operators.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills,
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, co-ordinate and direct; Shift Co-ordinators, Team Leaders and Production Operators to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, willing to take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site
