Are you an experienced Project Engineer/Manager looking to work for a market-leading water, waste and energy management company? Are you looking to be a part of an ethos which promotes sustainable development of communities and industries?

If so, my client currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager/Project Engineer to join them on a permanent basis covering Berkshire/Wiltshire Region. As the Project Manager you will manage the delivery of projects across the South and lead project teams to deliver projects to time, cost and quality.

Role:

  • Lead others in the delivery of water and wastewater projects for the South Region.

  • Projects are to be consistently delivered within time, cost and quality.

  • Liaise with South Region stakeholders and work to corporate policies and standards.

  • Planning / scheduling of works, budgeting /forecasting and controlling finances.

  • Liaison with asset management, project control and finance.

  • Leading members of the Project Delivery Team(s). Driving and motivating these
    team(s) to ensure value for money solutions.

  • Delivering projects while ensuring commercial and clients’ interests are protected.

  • Deliver efficient, innovative and creative solutions.

  • Demonstrate excellence and zero tolerance in all health and safety matters

 

The ideal candidate:

 

Essential:

 

  • Degree of equivalent in a relevant discipline.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Stakeholder management experience.

 

Desirable:

  • APMP qualification or similar.

  • Commercial experience, including contract management.

  • Project management experience.

  • Water industry or process related background.
