We are looking for an experienced Lead Revit MEP Coordinator to bring their skills and expertise to our client’s specialist contractor firm, on a 12-month contract basis, outside IR35. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, whereby the chosen candidate will work 3-4 days a week on-site, from one of our client’s London offices, and 1-2 days from home. Direct professional teams through a variety of complex projects, representing the company, leading them beyond operational brilliance.
-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£45 (depending on experience).
-Hybrid working arrangements (3-4 days on-site, 1-2 days from home).
Responsibilities:
-Oversee all coordination systems across a variety of project sectors, monitoring the MEP design, ductwork production, implementation, and final handover.
-Collaborate with specialist project teams (design, manufacturing, and site) to ensure scheduling, compliance, cost-efficiency, and quality alignment, across all projects.
-Establish detailed coordination plans, maintain interface records, deliverables, risks, and clashes, whilst promoting progress meetings and design development activities.
-Ensure full compliance with health and safety, environmental, sustainability, and quality standards and regulations.
-Promote ongoing progression for junior colleagues, guiding and mentoring them towards industry best practices.
-Support senior management buy raising potential coordination concerns, risks and project progression, ensuring continuous project efficiency.
Requirements:
-Previous demonstratable experience as a Lead Revit MEP Coordinator, or a similar role, managing teams through a variety of projects, with a focus on ventilation systems.
-Extensive experience using Revit MEP and Navisworks software, with experience using Cadduct and Fabrication MEP, which is preferred but not essential.
-Significant ability to produce and implement detailed coordination strategies, risk assessment records, interface documentation, and clash detection procedures.
-Proficient stakeholder management skills, with an ability to liaise with project teams, ensuring transparency and clear direction.
-Acknowledgement of health and safety, environmental, sustainability, and quality standards and regulations, and key industry legislation.
-Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee a professional team whilst managing concurrent tasks.
