Are you a Senior Structural Engineer and possess the skill and knowledge to be the driving force for change within the engineering industry?

We are looking for a skilled individual to join a forward-thinking civil and structural engineering firm, in a permanent position. Our client is offering the opportunity to work on a variety of complex and challenging projects, across a large span of sectors, whilst operating on-site from their main office in Norwich.

-Competitive salary ranging from £50,000-£55,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Produce and analyse structural drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations, throughout all project stages.

-Manage and monitor structural engineering design activities for a variety of multidisciplinary projects, from concept through to completion.

-Oversee project teams, focusing on task assignment, and performance reviews, whilst supporting junior engineers towards continuous professional growth and development.

-Coordinate with multidisciplinary professional teams, and other relevant project bodies, proposing effective structural solutions to enhance project efficiency.

-Observe project deliverables, budgets, and programme milestones, whilst pre-emptively identifying potential risks and concerns, allowing for appropriate escalation.

-Promote business development through client presentations, proposal preparation, and ensuring brilliance through advancements within structural engineering practices.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, ideally with a chartered status, or actively working towards achieving one.

-6+ years of experience managing teams and producing works for a variety of multidisciplinary projects.

-Strong understanding of relevant software tools, such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.

-Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an ability to manage projects within a limited deadline and budget.

-Significant team management abilities, with strong organisational skills.
