Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a London-based engineering team working on a range of refurbishment-focused projects.

This role is suited to an engineer who is working towards Chartership or is close to achieving it, with strong technical design capability and experience in structural refurbishment schemes. You will contribute to the delivery of technically challenging projects while working within a collaborative and supportive engineering environment.

Hybrid working is available as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

·         Deliver structural design and analysis for the refurbishment project

·         Prepare structural calculations, reports and design documentation

·         Support project delivery from concept through to completion

·         Coordinate with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams

·         Attend project and client meetings where required

·         Ensure designs comply with relevant UK codes and standards

·         Contribute to technical reviews and design development

Requirement

·         Experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment

·         Experience delivering refurbishment or redevelopment projects

·         Close to achieving Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it

·         Strong technical design and analytical skills

·         Good communication and coordination abilities

·         Ability to work within a hybrid working arrangement
