PROGRAMME MANAGER

Programme Manager - Drive Water Treatment Excellence in the Thames Water Region Blueprint Recruitment is pleased to partner with a leading water contracting organisation delivering on Thames Water programmes. We’re seeking a dynamic Programme Manager to lead multiple, technically complex water treatment projects on a permanent staff, hybrid-working basis (2–3 days/week in the Thames region). You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of multi-project programmes - including planning, delivery, stakeholder management, risk control, and commercial governance - while guiding delivery teams and strengthening client relationships to ensure exceptional standards, safety and environmental compliance throughout. -Competitive salary ranging from £90,000-£95,000 (depending on experience). -Flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities: -Responsible for the overall performance of multiple projects. -Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, and resource allocation across multiple projects. -Responsible for maintaining client relationships and resolving client issues. -Support, advise, and guide construction and delivery leads on all aspects of the contract and lend assistance with solving problems as required. -Ensuring an adequate technical, safety and environmental review is carried out for each project. -Drive cross-functional collaboration and support business development activities. MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for Senior to Principal level Mechanical Design Engineers (strong intermediate candidates may also be considered) to join a leading engineering company, in a 12-month contract position. This is a great opportunity to work on an interesting MOD project, working from our client’s office in Plymouth, with occasional site visits in Devonport. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £50-£75 (depending on experience level). Key Responsibilities: -Lead and manage mechanical building services projects delivered by subcontractors for the MOD, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and business standards. -Act as the technical authority, overseeing design quality, validating documentation, and conducting audits, reviews, and site inspections. -Define mechanical requirements, contribute to scopes of work, and support tender preparation and evaluations. -Represent the company in meetings with stakeholders and contractors, responding to technical queries and guiding project delivery. -Provide technical oversight to junior engineers and maintain accurate project records in line with company standards. STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

£40 - £45 per Hour

Attention all Civil/Structural Designers! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Civil/Structural Designer to join a leading Design and Engineering Consultancy, in a long-term contract position, outside IR35. As the successful candidate you will be required to work hybrid from our client’s office in either Manchester or Middlesborough. This is a great opportunity to work on an Oil & Gas project with an experienced and motivated team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£45 (depending on experience). -Flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities: -Create and maintain accurate 3D models for piping, structural, and civil components using Aveva E3D, following project standards and specifications. -Produce drawings including general arrangements, isometrics, spools, and fabrication details directly from the model. -Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure integrated, clash-free designs and participate in model reviews and clash detection. -Update models and documentation in line with design changes, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with standards, and proper version control. What we are looking for: -Must have experience working on onshore oil and gas projects. -Skilled in using AvevaE3D software to produce models in 3D, with knowledge of the Draft/Draw functionality. -Must be capable of creating civil and structural models, as well as general arrangement and detailed drawings for concrete pipe supports (sleepers), steelwork frame pipe supports, pipe bridges, and Above Ground Installations (AGIs). -Experience in civil works such as earthworks, road layouts, culverts, tunnels, and utility protection/diversion is highly desirable, as is the ability to produce reinforced concrete detailing. -Hold a City & Guilds qualification or HNC/HND. CAD TECHNICIAN
