An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major coastal infrastructure and marine engineering projects. This Quantity Surveyor role is ideal for someone with around 1–2 years' post-graduate experience who is looking to develop their commercial career within a supportive project team. Working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of project commercial management while contributing to the successful delivery of nationally significant coastal defence works. The successful Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in supporting commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle while developing towards greater responsibility. The Role As the Environmental Advisor in this role, you will be joining an established company looking to rapidly grow its own in house environmental capability. You will provide environmental support across major infrastructure and construction projects, working closely with project teams, contractors, clients and stakeholders. Undertake site inspections, audits, monitoring / identifying environmental risks, ensure compliance with legislation and project requirements, and support the implementation of effective environmental management plans and controls. The role will also involve investigating incidents, maintaining environmental records, providing guidance and awareness to site teams, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance.
