They work with key Utility providers in the South of England, and will be growing their team with AMP8 around the corner. Key responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to the project team. Ensure that all team members are working together effectively to achieve project objectives. Asset planning, feasibility, business case, outline design coordination Contract management Identify and manage project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies Prepare reports and documentation as required by the contract Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations Key requirements Previous experience working with a consultancy or have a client-facing background Skills in Business Development, Sales and Client Relations Experience working within the Water, Utilities, Energy sectors The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This long-term contract position is located in either Newcastle or Leeds, and will require the successful candidate to operate on a hybrid basis. Responsibilities: Lead and deliver geotechnical projects, including analysis, design, and appraisals for onshore gas infrastructure. Manage project scopes to ensure quality delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets. Prepare bids, project documentation, and reports to high standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various departments to ensure integrated project delivery. Engage in business development activities, including client meetings, proposals, and stakeholder engagement. Requirements: Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline. Significant experience in geotechnical engineering within the energy or construction sectors. Familiarity with British Standards, Eurocode 7, and DMRB. Desirable: Chartered Engineer status with post-chartered experience. Knowledge of Ground Movement Assessments, Soil/Pipeline Interaction Analysis, and Foundation Design.
