Blueprint Recruitment is looking to speak with Project Managers to join a leading Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Practice, on a permanent staff basis. The successful candidate must be able to commute into Kent, as this position requires office presence on a hybrid basis to work on Water/Water Treatment projects. If selected, you will be responsible for providing expertise whilst ensuring the successful delivery of projects to agreed budget and quality requirements. SECTION ENGINEER

Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced Section Engineers to join a reputable construction contractor on a long-term contract basis in Stoke-on-Trent. This full time position provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a major rail project in the UK, and is an ideal role for someone with a strong background in either Civils, Structures, Utilities, Water or Infrastructure. Our client is a renowned contractor, with particular expertise in financing, developing, building and maintaining complex infrastructure such as transportation, power and utility systems, social and commercial buildings. Due to their increasing workload, they are looking for a driven Section Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key responsibilities: Develop detailed work plans and ensure project milestones are met. Assist with the coordination of construction activities to ensure alignment with design and schedule. Oversee site activities and provide technical guidance to the workforce and subcontractors. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination. Track and report on project progress, maintaining site records and documentation. Assist in managing project budgets and control costs to stay within the allocated budget. Lead a team of junior engineers, site supervisors, and laborers. Key requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, SMSTS, CSCS. Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects. Proven track record in managing site-based engineering tasks and leading teams. Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or other project management tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the project team.
