Attention all Senior Structural Engineers! We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading Civil and Structural engineering company, in a permanent position. You will be required to work in a hybrid arrangement from our clients Edinburgh office. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, with an experienced and motivated team. -Competitive salary from £42,000-£58,000 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Lead and coordinate projects with high-quality technical design. -Produce technical design documents (sketches, calculations, specifications, and reports). -Review and approve reports, designs, and calculations per quality procedures. -Conduct structural surveys and provide findings, conclusions, and recommendations. -Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and the design team. -Plan site investigations and prepare reports. -Attend and record actions in design and site meetings. What we are looking for: Essential: -Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent qualification). -Competent in designing structures in concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry. -Able to use computer design software packages. -Good understanding of CDM regulations and responsibilities of a designer. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Chartered Engineer. Key responsibilities: -Designing electrical systems to meet project needs and standards. -Create technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for systems. -Work alongside other engineers to integrate systems with building designs. -Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines. -Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability standards. -Help prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and resources. Key Requirements: -A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. -Experience in electrical design. -Strong knowledge of electrical systems (lighting, power, distribution). -Extensive experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Familiarity with relevant building regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
