With our client’s ongoing commitment to excellence, they are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to enhance and build their service delivery and operations. Joining their leading water utility organisation, in a permanent position, you’d be required to work on-site from their main office, located on the South Coast of the UK. Within this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of several projects, with related to our client’s network and production assets. -Competitive salary ranging from £45,000-£50,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Produce system and operational enhancements with the implementation of OT/ICS projects, allowing for efficient production asset operations. -Support water treatment operations, with a focus on EICA/OT systems, by offering professional expertise and hands-on assistance. -Manage commissioning works, change control for electronic documentation, Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), and PLC/HMI/SCADA/GeoSCADA systems. -Observe and maintain OT cybersecurity processes, obtain and review operational data, whilst identifying performance enhancement opportunities. -Provide mentorship, training, and support to other professionals, nurturing best practice and knowledge across all operations. Requirements: -Extensive experience as a Production Engineer, or a similar position, ideally within the water sector. -Qualification in Electronic Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related speciality (HNC/HND). -Strong understanding of industrial control systems, hardwired circuitry, and process instrumentation. -Solid proficiency in HMI, PLC, and SCADA design, modification, and programming, with knowledge of telemetry configuration. -Excellent grasp of Operational Technology (OT) communication procedures and networked control fields. -Ability to produce and interpret in-depth project and engineering reports and documentation. Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Senior M&E Technician to be an active member of a leading water utility company, in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site from our client’s office near Portsmouth. You will be responsible for working on the maintenance and improvement of our client’s water treatment works and network distribution assets, in this hands-on role. -Competitive salary ranging from £43,020-£48,102 (depending on experience) -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Respond to process alarms and faults, finding and solving issues on-site or remotely, and taking it further when necessary. -Manage and oversee maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment to reduce disruptions, ensuring reliability. -Investigate and solve plant failures, working with teams to prevent faults and implement long-term solutions. -Oversee external site activity for water source integrity risks, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
