Responsibilities: -Design and develop detailed building services systems, from concept through to design, with a focus on mechanical system elements. -Produce technical drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules with the use of relevant software tools, such as CAD and BIM programmes. -Work alongside multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring smooth design and model integration into project plans, promoting constructability, transparency, and efficiency. -Create concise performance analyses and calculations, for all mechanical works, with the use of simulation and modelling tools when required. -Support the assessment of low-carbon and sustainable design opportunities, propose alternative design methods, and ensure that designs comply with key requirements. Responsibilities: -Support the design and delivery stages within complex Rail, Education and Defence projects, from concept through to completion, focusing on electrical system elements. -Produce in-depth drawings using relevant software tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD, whilst collaborating with other professionals to ensure smooth system integration. -Oversee extensive electrical calculations, lighting design and distribution drawings, ensuring alignment with current regulations. -Conduct frequent site visits and inspections, allowing for installation reviews, troubleshooting and quality assurance.
