Within this position, candidates are expected to work on-site from one of our client’s offices across the UK, however their London or Birmingham office is preferred. You will play a crucial role in the development of several Healthcare projects, guiding a team of professionals throughout the project lifecycles. -Competitive salary of £100,000-£150,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, £6,500 travel allowance, generous annual leave, Bonus of up to 15%, and ongoing career development opportunities. CAD TECHNICIAN

We have an exciting new opportunity, here at Blueprint Recruitment, for a skilled CAD Technician to join a leading engineering firm, in a permanent position. Within this position, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Water and Wastewater projects, leading and managing our client’s design team. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the production and delivery of 3D model designs and BIM systems for a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects. -Introduce and maintain BIM workflows, strategies, and standards to allow for the project to follow high quality and consistency throughout. -Guide and mentor the design team, consisting of CAD and BIM technicians, providing ongoing training and support. -Collaborate with numerous professionals, ranging in disciplines, to allow for an effective integration of design specifications, whilst conducting clash detection tests. -Review models and designs, providing feedback and guidance, to allow for quality, health and safety, specification alignment, and compliance to be maintained. -Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all projects works and promote development across BIM deliverables. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a regional client office, 1-2 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects, as a part of a highly skilled team. -Competitive day rate of £600-£750 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce concise electrical designs, layouts, feasibility reports, and cost estimations for Primary and Grid substations. -Create detailed specifications and designs for substation and new build projects, with an inclusion of switchgear, transformers, and battery systems. -Analyse designs, from both colleagues and suppliers, to ensure that they follow industry standards, client needs, and legislation. -Step into both Principal and/or CDM designer roles, ensuring that health and safety risks are identified and dealt with. -Assist with project delivery by conducting site visits, integrating design changes, and ensuring the project complies with quality, programme, and commercial goals. -Build and maintain rapport with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the project’s lifespan. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a regional client office, 1-2 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects, as a part of a highly skilled team. -Competitive day rate of £600-£750 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce concise designs for power distribution and transmission cable systems, making note of cables, connectors, and the installation methods involved. -Use software tools such as AutoCAD and CableCAD to create the designs, specifications, and documentation for the project. -Conduct technical tests and analysis to ensure that cable systems are mechanically and electrically sound. -Attend site visits to gather information to assess the integrity and efficiency of the cable system designs. -Ensure all designs follow safety policies and regulations, industry standards, and environmental principles. -Work alongside multidisciplinary teams (project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders) to ensure a smooth transition of designs and drafts to project plans. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on Electrical and/or Power Engineering. -At, or working towards, a chartered status. -Prior experience in designing and testing HV cables for HVAC and HVDC projects, both on and offshore, including cable system design and rating using CYMCAP. -Solid grasp of IEC cable principles and CIGRE policies, the technical specifications and documentation, with the ability to efficiently execute the role as a cable professional. -Past experience of observing procedures, testing, installation and transport, from a third-party source.
