Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for multiple seasoned Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join a global building services consultancy, in a permanent position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s Oxfordshire office. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the design developments for a variety of Data Centre projects, ranging in scales. -Produce concise calculations and simulations, looking into voltage drop, harmonics, load flows, short circuit, and fault levels. -Create and analyse drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure that all works are in line with client requirements. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to allow for smooth building design implementation. -Guide, and provide support to, junior or associate engineers, providing constructive feedback, promoting development and progression. -Conduct site visits, troubleshooting, and commissioning processes as, or when, required during the construction stages. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, with, or working towards, a chartered status. -8+ years of experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, or a related role, with a focus on Data Centre projects. -Strong understanding of current industry standards, both UK and international, and other related regulations. -Extensive experience with the use of software tools, such as Revit MEP, Dialux or Relux, ETAP, SKM, or DIgSILENT. -Solid communication and organisation skills, with strong leadership skills and initiatives.
