Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Commissioning Manager to join our client’s team in a permanent role. You will have the opportunity to work on a mixture of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, working on a hybrid basis (3 days a week in Sussex). Our client is a respected multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across the water, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Your Responsibilities: -Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and resources. -Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. -Oversee testing (manual, automated, and performance). -Maintain accurate documentation and reports. -Lead and support the commissioning team. -Communicate clearly with clients and project teams. Key Requirements: -Experience commissioning water or wastewater treatment projects. -Familiar with UK water industry standards and AMP frameworks. -Background working with contractors or water utilities. -Able to manage multiple projects and teams. -Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. -Knowledge of ICA and process systems is a plus. COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

We're hiring a Commissioning Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company on a permanent, full-time on site, position in Sussex. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting water and waste-water projects across a variety of sectors. Key Responsibilities: -Creating and managing comprehensive commissioning records and documentation. -Overseeing and coordinating all commissioning activities. -Leading commissioning meetings with subcontractors and clients as needed. -Reviewing and approving commissioning documentation and Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RAMS). -Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues during the commissioning phase. -Performing pre-commissioning inspections and equipment/system testing Key Requirements: -Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering. -Must have prior experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment projects. -Proven experience collaborating with contractors or water utility providers. -Strong understanding of water treatment processes and distribution systems. -Familiarity with ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and process systems is advantageous.
