As the successful candidate, you will be required to work on-site, full-time, from our client’s West London site. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Data Centre, Health Care, and Residential projects, directing and managing a team of engineers to project completion. -Competitive day rate ranging from £450-£475 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the execution of project designs throughout the project, ensuring that scheduling, budgets, and quality are being complied with. -Lead and direct multidisciplinary teams and sub-consultants through the project entirety, promoting collaboration and high-quality performance. -Build and maintain rapport with clients allowing for design negotiation and presentations to take place, ensuring client requirements are being met. -Ensure and maintain project documentation, observe risk and performance, and adapt plans when required. -Promote compliance with design standards and processes, as well as sustainability targets, regulations, and best practices. -Aid in the proposal and fee bidding process, as well as the promoting of business development opportunities. The successful candidate must be available full time, on-site in West London. Key responsibilities: -Lead and develop the efficient and effective management of accurate, timely, and contract-compliant documentation -Work closely with project management, engineering teams, the employer’s commercial team, and the client. -Prepare periodic valuations and claims for completed work -Maintain effective cost control, identifying contractual and commercial risks and opportunities. -Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements relevant to the role. -Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports. -Keep risk registers and contingency records updated -Review value management proposals -Support procurement through tenders, including subcontract documentation production -Manage subcontracts from placement to final account, including payment applications and variation registers.
