SENIOR ENGINEER

Location : BERKSHIRE
Salary from : £ 50,000 per

Our client is a major company in the UK Water Sector. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Engineer to join them in their Berkshire Office. The selected candidate will work under the direction of Principal Engineers in order to achieve the company’s ambitions for AMP7.

The successful candidate will join their Capital Delivery Team and be integral in creating a leading ‘cutting-edge’ Engineering Team that can deliver the ambitions of our client for AMP 7 in the UK Water Sector.

Role:

• Get the technical requirements with the Project Definition Briefs and maximize value by understanding risks.

• Provide Design sign-off to between Asset Management and Capital Delivery as the Delivery Stream dictates.

• Provide Technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning and hand over of Assets.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment of technical information and development of solutions through preparation of reports and specifications.

• Management of the activities of multi-disciplinary project teams in accordance with procedures.

• Management of the delivery of project outputs to time, cost and quality.

• Deliver projects for capital schemes.

Requirements:

• Degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline and with professional Chartership.
• Extensive experience in the field of expertise.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in leading project teams and accountability for project delivery.
• Fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software.

SENIOR ICA ENGINEER

Salary from : £ 45,000 per

Our client is a major company in the UK Water Sector. They currently have a vacancy for an Senior ICA Engineer to join them in Berkshire. The successful candidate will lead a highly regarded ICA Team, providing technical leadership. This role will create an industry-leading engineering team that can achieve the company’s ambitions for AMP7. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the ICA discipline and providing technical expertise to the business in order to drive performance forward.

Role:

• Get the right technical requirements with the Project Definition Briefs

• Input and continuously improve Technical Asset Standards

• Provide Design sign-off to Capital Delivery as the Delivery Stream dictates

• Provide Technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning and hand over of Assets

• Drive the digital advancement of our Engineering within the Corporate Digital strategy

• Ensure and deliver the Engineering Regulatory compliance on relevant Assets in the ICA area

  Accountabilities:

• Senior role in ICA Engineering

• Provide the technical input into Project Definition Briefs

• Provide the technical sign-off and assurance during technical delivery including handover

• Ensure compliance with Engineering based regulatory requirements in their area

• Support the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Engineering

• Support the establishment of a cohesive, sustainable Engineering structure from Graduate to Industry experts that lead the client’s Engineering requirements into AMP8 and beyond

  Benefits:

• Salary of up to £54000 p.a.

Experience/Qualifications:

• A recognised senior engineer
• Experience with data networks and Safety Instrument Systems
• Water industry experience
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
• Collaborate and ability to influence senior colleagues
• Budget management experience
• Degree Qualified
