Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a senior Architectural Technician to join a leading Construction Engineering Company, on a contract basis.

This position offers the flexibility to attend either the Leeds or Birmingham offices on a fortnightly basis!  

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for an Architectural Technician to play a key role in translating design concepts into technical drawings and specifications for Education, Commercial, Temporary building and various office fit out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in design and technician review

- Utilise software, such as Revit, to develop models of buildings and structures

- Prepare detailed Architectural drawings, plans and elevations

- Develop construction details, specifications, and schedules

- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and planning policies

- Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Architectural designs

· Maintain and develop strong client relations

Key Requirements:

· Proficiency using Revit is essential

· Previous experience working on Education and Commercial projects is beneficial  

· Highly creative and detail orientated 

· Prior experience working as an Architectural Technician

· A degree in Architecture

· Past experience coordinating and detailing projects

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
