Calling all Bridge Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for a seasoned Bridge Engineer to join a major Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Glasgow.

As the selected candidate, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and inspection of bridge structures for exciting Rail and Bridge projects!

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and guide teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs and detailed designs

· Production of contract documents and technical reports

· Oversee bridge projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget

· Apply your knowledge of bridge Engineering principles and codes to develop efficient and innovative solutions

· Ensure that all bridge designs and analyses adhere to industry standards and safety regulations

· Undertake a technical lead role on a variety of bridge and structural related projects, ensuring the delivery of projects

·  Interact with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address their concerns.

Key Requirements:

· Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Previous experience working on Bridge or Highways structures

· Excellent project management and leadership skills

· Degree qualified in Engineering or a relevant subject

· Must be sociable and willing to collaborate with the team

· Strong experience in Bridge Engineering

· Experience in Bridge analysis software

· Working knowledge of industry standards and codes

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Commitment to safety and quality in Engineering practices
