Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated Civil Engineer to join a global Engineering and Design Consultancy on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work on diverse Water projects in either, Warrington, Newcastle or Leeds.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for using your skills to support the team in winning and delivering innovative Engineering solutions, for UK and international clients across Clear Water and Wastewater infrastructure.

Our client is a reputable Consultancy, comprised of expert Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineers that offer a range of technical Engineering solutions. They are expanding their Infrastructure team due to the increasing demand for services in a variety of industry sectors, including, Infrastructure, Energy, Highways, Transportation, Defence and Education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and contribute to the successful delivery of projects across the UK and abroad

- Responsible for work winning through production of proposals, fees, and scope definition

- Run and contribute to discussions on technical water Civil Engineering solutions to clients

- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment

- Contribute to the efficient delivery of projects to meet programme and budget

- Review design deliverables including Engineering design calculations, drawings and report writing

- Lead the safe design of technical solutions for projects

- Act as a mentor to other team members

Key Requirements:

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a relevant field

- Chartered Engineer status or working towards

- Hands on experience of design/design-&-build/project and bid delivery in the water sector

- Strong water sector background

- Working knowledge of relevant UK and international codes and standards, for water and wastewater infrastructure

- Highly motivated and organised

- Experience working with contractors

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
