Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a driven Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading Building Services Engineering Consultancy, on a contract basis.

This position is offering the selected candidate the chance to attend the Edenbridge office on a hybrid basis to work on exciting Hospital and Healthcare projects.

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the design and specification of electrical building services systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools

· Design and specification of all Electrical Building Services systems

· Maintain and develop positive client relations

- Attend project and client meetings

- Ensure design work is in accordance with departmental procedures

· Complete site surveys and inspections

- Ensure the understanding of project briefs

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Electrical Engineering

· Extensive Electrical Design Engineer experience 

· Excellent communication skills

· Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools

- Prior experience working on Healthcare and Hospital projects is beneficial

- Awareness of the principles of building physics

- Ability to be client facing
