Calling all motivated Engineering Managers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are working with a leading Building Services Contractor who have an exciting new opportunity for a seasoned Engineering Manager to join them on a contract basis. You will be responsible for overseeing all Engineering projects, managing the Engineering department, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Our client specialises in offering innovative solutions to the challenges faced by businesses and property owners. Their comprehensive suite of services includes the Design, financing, Construction, and operation of digital and power Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the Engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of projects

· Provide strategic direction and technical guidance on complex Engineering challenges

· Recruit, train, and mentor Engineering staff

· Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with project managers

· Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards

· Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction

· Participate in client meetings and presentations

· Provide technical leadership on Engineering design and implementation

- Ensure that Engineering designs comply with relevant standards and codes

· Develop and manage Engineering budgets

· Monitor and control project costs to ensure financial objectives are met

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

· An Electrical background

· Proven experience in Engineering management

· Track record of successful project delivery

· Specialise in low voltage Engineering

· Detailed design experience

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Strong understanding on cost estimation and cost evaluation

· Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for the Engineering department

· Familiarity with relevant Engineering software and technologies
