Our client is actively seeking several experienced Hydraulic Modellers to join their multidisciplinary consultancy, on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will be working on-site, with all works taking place at our client’s main office in Leicester. Expand your ever-growing portfolio of works with this opportunity to support and develop the first initial stages of a variety of Water and Water Treatment projects.
-Competitive salary of £50,000-£70,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Produce and maintain hydraulic model designs, using tools such as InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS, and/or TUFLOW, for wastewater, flood risk, and drainage systems.
-Examine survey, rainfall, flow, and spatial datasets, and integrate GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS/QGIS) to support modelling work.
-Interpret model results and create concise technical reports, visualisations, and documentation.
-Ensure that all works comply with current UK industry standards, practices, and guidance.
-Work alongside other multidisciplinary teams, supporting quality assurance, project planning, and peer reviews.
Requirements:
-Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and pursuing professional accreditation.
-Extensive experience in hydraulic modelling, with a focus on water and environmental projects, and producing technical modelling reports.
-Proficient in the use of modelling software such as TUFLOW, FloodModeller, and ESTRY, and the use of GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS or QGIS).
-Understanding of UK water industry regulations and policies surrounding flood risk is desirable.
-Strong communication and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset and a desire to learn, collaborate, and create high-quality work.
