Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Civil Technician to join a growing civil engineering consultancy in a permanent position, based in Wakefield. Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist with the production of civil engineering drawings and technical documentation.

·         Support the design of drainage and infrastructure systems.

·         Work with engineers to develop design solutions for projects.

·         Use AutoCAD and Civils 3D to produce drawings and design information.

·         Support project teams to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for:

·         Interest in pursuing a career within civil engineering or infrastructure design.

·         Some experience or familiarity with AutoCAD or Civils 3D (not essential).

·         Understanding of drainage or civil engineering principles is beneficial.

·         Ability to work 4–5 days per week in the Wakefield office.

·         Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Desirable:

·         Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.

·         Previous experience in a civil engineering consultancy or design environment.
