This is an initial six-month contract offering £400–£500 per day, Outside IR35, with hybrid working from St Asaph.

 

The position would suit someone with a strong background in the water or wastewater sector who is confident producing and checking technical electrical deliverables.

 

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for a range of EICA design activities, producing high-quality documentation and ensuring technical outputs meet project and client requirements.

 

Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you’ll also liaise with MCC and System Integration subcontractors to support the successful coordination and delivery of electrical systems across the framework.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Produce and check EICA design deliverables

·         Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS)

·         Produce Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

·         Prepare MCC datasheets and schedules

·         Carry out power supply assessments

·         Produce Block Cable Diagrams (BCDs) and loop drawings

·         Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance

·         Coordinate with MCC and System Integration subcontractors

·         Support wider project teams throughout design and delivery

What We’re Looking For

·         Extensive electrical design experience, ideally around 10 years

·         Strong background within water and wastewater projects

·         Good understanding of EICA systems and design requirements

·         Experience producing URSs, SLDs and MCC documentation

·         Knowledge of power supply assessments, BCDs and loops

·         Ability to produce and check technical deliverables independently

·         Strong coordination and communication skills
