DESIGN MANAGER

Derby | Permanent
£70,000 - £85,000 per Annum

Blueprint Recruitment have a new and exciting opportunity on offer for a seasoned Regional Design Manager to join a leading engineering firm, in a permanent position. Within this role, you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Derby, but our client will consider candidates located in Kent and East Sussex. You will be responsible for managing all design processes within a variety of Water Treatment projects. -Competitive salary of £70,000-£85,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the internal design teams to ensure high-quality performance, development, and resource allocation. -Establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders to allow for the project to follow the requirements fully. -Support project planning processes, tendering, and forecasting through sharing design expertise and identifying risks and challenges. -Promote team development and progression through ongoing innovation, sustainable practices, and digital tools. -Ensure all designs comply with client standards and align with regulations through observation and quality assurances. -Nurture health and safety within designs, allowing for full alignment with CDM regulations and best practices. PLANNING MANAGER

London | Permanent
£80,000 - £100,000 per Annum

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a seasoned Planning Manager to be an active member of a well-established utilities contractor, in a permanent position. Within this position, you will have the opportunity to support and manage a variety of Power, and Distribution and Transmission, projects, overseeing and maintaining the project plans. -Competitive salary ranging from £80,000-£100,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, health and life insurance, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Create and maintain efficient systems, from the beginning of the project to the end, using tools such as Primavera P6. -Oversee 4D project planning development and promote collaborative planning activities to ensure effective project implementation. -Observe the project’s development, using the project requirements as a guide, to identify potential risks, challenges, or opportunities and adapting the plan to fit. -Conduct site visits and gatherings to collect project development data, reporting any challenges or delays to project teams and the Senior Planning Manager. -Develop ongoing project schedules and ensure that as-built plans are accessible at the project’s end. -Promote and build rapport with client advocates and internal teams, whilst also providing ongoing training opportunities, and software administration. Requirements: -Extensive experience in planning Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Civil projects, with an understanding of NEC3/4 contracts and HSE practices. -Must have possession of a CSCS card. -Strong proficiency in the use of software tools like Primavera P6 and the Microsoft Office suite, with solid scheduling and data handling abilities. -Excellent communicator with the ability to coordinate and work with other professionals, in a fast-paced environment. -Must have a proactive approach, with a problem-solving mindset, ensuring the identification of risks, challenges, and opportunities. PLANNER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for multiple experienced Planners to join a leading utilities contractor, in a permanent position. The successful applicant will be required to work 3 days a week, on-site, from each of our client’s sites in Bristol, Pembroke, Indian Queens, Melksham and Cowley. You will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of Utilities and Power projects, with a large focus on Distribution and Transmission. -Competitive salary ranging from £55,000-£75,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, paid travel expenses, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Nationwide | Contract
£600 - £750 per Day

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering and professional services firm, on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a regional client office, 1-2 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects, as a part of a highly skilled team. -Competitive day rate of £600-£750 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce concise electrical designs, layouts, feasibility reports, and cost estimations for Primary and Grid substations. -Create detailed specifications and designs for substation and new build projects, with an inclusion of switchgear, transformers, and battery systems. -Analyse designs, from both colleagues and suppliers, to ensure that they follow industry standards, client needs, and legislation. -Step into both Principal and/or CDM designer roles, ensuring that health and safety risks are identified and dealt with. -Assist with project delivery by conducting site visits, integrating design changes, and ensuring the project complies with quality, programme, and commercial goals. -Build and maintain rapport with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the project’s lifespan. REVIT MEP TECHNICIAN

Attention all Revit MEP Technicians! We are looking for multiple experienced Revit MEP Technician to join a well-established M&E contractor in a permanent position. You will be required to work from our client’s head office in London, and work from home twice a month. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of refurbishment, hotels and fit-out projects from consultancy to instalment stage, with an experienced and motivating team. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement, company pension scheme, generous annual leave.
