Leeds | £700–£800 per day | CIS Umbrella | 6-Month Contract We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of National Grid substation projects, managing multidisciplinary teams across complex Design & Build environments. This role needs someone who understands the realities of substation delivery, with strong knowledge of National Grid requirements, NEC contracts and the commercial management of major power infrastructure projects. What you'll be doing Leading National Grid substation project delivery Managing cross-functional Design & Build teams Overseeing programme, budgets, risk and commercial performance Managing client, supplier and project stakeholder relationships Working within NEC contract requirements Ensuring delivery meets relevant safety and regulatory standards What we're looking for Proven National Grid substation build experience Working knowledge of National Grid Safety Rules and EPC / M&E frameworks Strong Design & Build project leadership experience Good commercial knowledge of NEC contracts Experience managing project budgets, risk and opportunity Knowledge of HSWA, CDM and EAWR Construction / Engineering qualification or equivalent experience Full UK driving licence The opportunity £700–£800 per day, Inside IR35, on an initial 6-month contract, taking responsibility for the delivery of major National Grid power infrastructure. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Advisor to support the delivery of major infrastructure and construction projects. The Role As the Environmental Advisor in this role, you will be joining an established company looking to rapidly grow its own in house environmental capability. You will provide environmental support across major infrastructure and construction projects, working closely with project teams, contractors, clients and stakeholders. Undertake site inspections, audits, monitoring / identifying environmental risks, ensure compliance with legislation and project requirements, and support the implementation of effective environmental management plans and controls. The role will also involve investigating incidents, maintaining environmental records, providing guidance and awareness to site teams, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance. What We're Looking For We're looking for an Environmental Advisor with experience working within major construction, engineering &/or infrastructure environments. Keen to join an expanding team working on a variety of landmark projects, whilst looking to make a real difference on these large scale projects that affect the natural world around us. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience as an Environmental Advisor, Environmental Engineer or Environmental Consultant Experience working within construction or infrastructure Good knowledge of UK environmental legislation and compliance requirements Experience carrying out environmental inspections and audits Understanding of environmental risks associated with major construction projects Strong reporting and documentation skills Confidence working directly with construction and site teams Ability to identify environmental risks and recommend practical solutions Experience within highways, rail, aviation, water or major civil engineering projects would be particularly advantageous. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Witney, working across a varied portfolio of heritage, conservation, education, new-build and restoration projects. This role would suit a Structural Engineer with around 2–7 years' experience who wants exposure to projects that go beyond standard new-build structures. You'll work on both modern developments and existing buildings, tackling interesting structural challenges while developing your technical and project delivery experience. The Role As a Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for: Delivering structural designs across heritage, conservation, education and new-build projects Working on the assessment, refurbishment and restoration of existing structures Producing structural calculations, technical drawings and design documentation Developing practical engineering solutions for complex and sensitive buildings Supporting projects from initial concept through detailed design and construction Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams Attending site visits and undertaking structural inspections where required Preparing technical reports and specifications Ensuring designs comply with relevant UK standards and Building Regulations Taking increasing ownership of projects as your experience develops What We're Looking For We're looking for a Structural Engineer with approximately 2–7 years' professional experience. Ideally you'll have: Experience working within a structural engineering consultancy A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline Strong structural analysis and design capabilities Experience designing in common structural materials Good understanding of UK design standards and construction practices Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills Confidence working collaboratively with architects and other consultants An interest in technically challenging existing-building projects Previous experience across heritage, conservation, restoration or education projects would be particularly advantageous.
