Job Title: Electrical Associate Director Location: Glasgow Job Type: Permanent Sector: Building Services Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 Start Date: Flexible Overview An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Associate Director to join a Building Services team in Glasgow, with a strong focus on data centre projects. This is a senior leadership role combining technical excellence, team management and strategic project oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex, high-value data centre schemes while supporting business growth and team development. Key Responsibilities · Lead the electrical design and delivery of data centre projects · Provide strategic technical direction across multiple schemes · Oversee electrical design quality, standards and compliance · Manage and mentor senior and junior engineers · Support project planning, resource management and programme delivery · Engage with clients and stakeholders at a senior level · Contribute to business development and work-winning activities · Ensure delivery aligns with commercial and operational objectives Requirements · Extensive experience in electrical building services design · Proven experience delivering data centre projects · Experience operating at the Associate or Associate Director level (or ready to step up) · Strong leadership and team management capability · Excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills · Strong commercial awareness Candidate Profile You will be a technically accomplished electrical engineer with experience delivering complex data centre environments and leading high-performing teams.
