We are looking for a contract Structural Engineer to join a leading Civil and Structural Contractor who operate across multiple sectors including, education, healthcare and commercial. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to operate on a remote basis whilst working on exciting industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: -Carry out structural design and analysis. -Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of structural solutions. -Participate in project planning, risk management, and design reviews. -Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Attention all Electrical Associates! Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated Electrical associate to join an leading engineering and design consultancy on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote position, and provides a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting data centre projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a deep technical background in data centre design. This role offers a unique chance to drive technical excellence and lead a team of talented engineers, supporting the delivery of high-stakes projects for major clients across the data centre sector. Key responsibilities Set the standard for technical quality and innovation, guiding the team through complex design challenges specific to data centres. Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities. Managing own workload, updating forward plan of workload regularly and working to time allocations. Carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Excel, Amtech, Dialux/Relux, in-house developed tools. Checking the design work of fellow team members and external designers in accordance with departmental procedures. Preparing conceptual designs with a view to ensuring safe, practical, and economic solutions in accordance with current standards. Key requirements ETAP proficiency Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related subjects. Team management abilities Strong technical background Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or some experience of working within a contractor design environment is beneficial. Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools including Amtech/Prodesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS and Microsoft packages. Any HV tools will also be beneficial. Awareness of the principles of building physics such as passive design solutions and fabric first approaches.
