The successful candidate will be able to operate on a remote basis whilst working across a variety of MEP projects, within the built environment sector. -Competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, remote working, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Develop and manage coordinated MEP models for a variety of multidisciplinary projects using relevant software tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD. -Collaborate with engineers and design teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements and general outlined specifications. -Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and key legislations. -Support project delivery from early design through to construction, whilst maintaining accurate project documentation throughout the project’s lifecycle. -Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and other project professionals, to identify and resolve design issues, ensuring project efficiency. Requirements: -Proven experience as a Revit MEP Coordinator, or similar role, with experience of working on multidisciplinary MEP projects. -Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for MEP, and an understanding of BIM standards and clash detection tools, such as Navisworks. -Solid understanding of MEP systems and site workflows, with the ability to interpret detailed drawings and specifications. -Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated Electrical associate to join an leading engineering and design consultancy on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote position, and provides a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting data centre projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a deep technical background in data centre design. This role offers a unique chance to drive technical excellence and lead a team of talented engineers, supporting the delivery of high-stakes projects for major clients across the data centre sector. Key responsibilities Set the standard for technical quality and innovation, guiding the team through complex design challenges specific to data centres. Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities. Managing own workload, updating forward plan of workload regularly and working to time allocations. Carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Excel, Amtech, Dialux/Relux, in-house developed tools. Checking the design work of fellow team members and external designers in accordance with departmental procedures. Preparing conceptual designs with a view to ensuring safe, practical, and economic solutions in accordance with current standards. Key requirements ETAP proficiency Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related subjects. Team management abilities Strong technical background Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or some experience of working within a contractor design environment is beneficial. Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools including Amtech/Prodesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS and Microsoft packages. Any HV tools will also be beneficial. Awareness of the principles of building physics such as passive design solutions and fabric first approaches.
