Key Responsibilities: -Supervise mechanical installation and testing on site. -Ensure all mechanical safety rules are followed, and that all supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP safety rules. -Make sure construction and safety documents are up-to-date and properly recorded. -Attend site inductions and safety briefings and perform regular safety checks on equipment. -Track and report work progress. What we’re looking for: -HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship with relevant experience. -Extensive experience in the Water/Wastewater industry. -Skilled in mechanical and pipework fabrication, installation, and testing (including pressure and hydrostatic testing). -Proficient in reading and working with Isometric, GA, and P&ID drawings. -SSSTS and CSCS certified. This role will consist of hybrid working, with three days a week in the client’s office in Southampton. Our client specialises in mechanical and electrical engineering design, across multiple sectors including healthcare. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement.
