Calling Interior Designers! Blueprint Recruitment have a brilliant opportunity for a seasoned Interior Designer to join a leading Construction Engineering Conaultanxy, on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Watford office 1-2 times per week to contribute to exciting Education projects. Our client offers Design, Construction and Engineering services for projects in the following markets, Health, Education and Commercial. Key Responsibilities: · Liaise with clients to determine their preferences and requirements · Conduct site visits and surveys · Create detailed floor plans and elevations · Research and source materials and furnishings that meet design specifications · Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure materials · Work closely with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and other design professionals · Attend project meetings and provide design updates · Develop project budgets and timelines in collaboration with clients · Maintain detailed project documentation, including design specifications and purchase orders Key Requirements: · A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a relevant field · Previous experience in interior design, ideally with a focus on Education projects · Proficiency using Revit · Strong creative design skills - Excellent knowledge of interior design principles · Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design and construction · Effective communication and interpersonal skills For further information on this opportunity, please contact Sam Seymour on 02392 603030 or email sam.seymour@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
