Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a senior Electrical Engineer to join a global Consultancy, on a permanent staff basis in Cardiff.

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the design of Electrical systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Undertake design calculations for Electrical installations

· Provide input on design strategies

· Design Electrical installations, including, drawings, diagrams and schematics

- Complete project specifications and schedules

· Ensure Electrical installations meet relevant British standards and Building Regulations

· Lead an M&E team in the coordination and delivery of projects

· Attend meetings and project reviews when required

· Ensure Electrical installations are efficient

· Liaise with clients to understand their needs

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Engineering or a relevant field

· Good communication and time management abilities

· Extensive experience working as an Electrical Engineer

· Able to apply theoretical principals to the design of building systems

· Strong knowledge of the building design process

· Awareness of energy and environmental UK regulations

· Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

· Prior experience in modelling software
