Blueprint recruitment is looking to speak with an experienced Revit Technician to join a leading Civil and Structural Engineering Practice, on a permanent basis. This position offers the successful candidate the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, to contribute to a range of exciting Engineering Design projects with driven Technicians, Designers and Engineers. Our client is expanding the dynamic team due to an increasing demand for their excellent services in a range of sectors including, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Refurbishments and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborating with the team to resolve design and detailing challenges

· Producing accurate and reliable structural drawings and Revit models from Engineering sketches

· Delivering structural steelwork drawings, reinforced concrete drawings, RC detailing, and schedules

· Mentoring junior technicians

· Working closely with Engineers to understand and foresee practical challenges within a design

· Delivering information within defined timescales

- Communicate clearly with all members in the team

· Ensure appropriate health and safety information is added to drawings and models

· Manage information in accordance with company and client procedures

Key Requirements:

· Extensive experience working as a Revit Technician

· Robust understanding and working knowledge of CIC BIM Protocol

· Ability to develop project BIM Execution Plans highlights project management skills

· Good general knowledge of construction techniques and materials

· Demonstrated capability of problem-solving and understanding the wider engineering context of drawings and models

- Good knowledge of use of Navisworks and AutoCAD

- Proven track record in CAD and REVIT delivery from concept to construction

· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team of Engineers and Technicians

· Good organisational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well under pressure
