Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a global Consulting Engineering Practice, on a permanent staff basis.

This position is based in London with flexible working hours!

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and specify elements for major projects

· Maintain and develop positive client relations

· Work closely with principal designers

· Assist in the production of calculations, drawings and reports.

· Attend meetings with Architects and Contractors.

· Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project brief

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Structural Engineering or a relevant field

- Extensive structural design experience in the UK

· Analytical knowledge and understanding of Engineering principles

· Past experience of undertaking steel and concrete designs

· Working knowledge of Eurocodes, UK & Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards

· Ability to develop successful relationships with Architects and Contractors

· Experience using Structural Engineering design software such as Tekla, TEDDS, ROBOT, AutoCAD and Revit

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Chartered or approaching Chartered Engineer status
