This job opportunity for a Structural Engineer is one you don’t want to miss!

Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a well-known Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Basingstoke.

The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Basingstoke office 3 days per week!  

Our client specialises in all aspects of Building Structures work across the Education, Leisure, Rail, Refurbishment and Industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and specify all aspects of Structural works

· Producing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, reports and site surveys

· Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project brief

· Deliver multiple projects or parts of projects to completion

· Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality structural Engineering designs

· Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities

· Offer support and guidance to other team members

· Effectively manage own time, especially if allocated to more than one project

Key Requirements:

· Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Extensive experience working as a Structural Engineer

· A degree in an Engineering field

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work as part of a team and independently

· Experience in the design of common structural materials

· A strong understanding of current design standards and practices

· The ability to make decisions and act on your own initiative
