Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Stevenage.

Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer to play a crucial role in the design and analysis for exciting Education, Commercial and Residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and specify all aspects of Structural works

· Producing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, reports and site surveys

· Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project brief

· Deliver multiple projects or parts of projects to completion

· Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality structural Engineering designs

· Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities

· Offer support and guidance to other team members

Key Requirements:

· Chartered Engineer status

· A degree in Engineering

· Previous experience leading projects is desirable

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Experience using AutoCAD, TEDDS, TEKLA

· Management experience

· Extensive experience working as a structural Engineer

· Experience in the design of common structural materials

· Good understanding of current design standards and practices

· The ability to act on your own initiative

· Experience working on Commercial and Residential projects is ideal
