This position offers the flexibility to attend our client's Birmingham office on a fortnightly basis! Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for an Architectural Technician to play a key role in translating design concepts into technical drawings and specifications for Education, Commercial, Temporary building and various office fit out projects. Attention all Architectural Technologists! Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy on a contract basis. This is an exciting remote position, outside IR35, and will see the successful candidate working on a variety of Residential, Educational, Retirement & Care projects. Our client is a renowned property and construction consultancy, providing a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education and residential. Their commissions range from large-scale new build and refurbishment projects to smaller value design and construction work. As the selected Architectural Technologist, you will be working as part of a professional and friendly team, who all offer a personal approach through both the design and construction process! Key responsibilities: Prepare working drawings and assist with standard design details. Report on individual working drawings programs, ensuring projects progress in a timely manner in line with the agreed business plan. Coordinate with external consultants to ensure all necessary working drawings and supporting information are provided according to the agreed program and meet appropriate standards. Prepare employers requirements, including specifications, to align with project sales and development goals. Conduct regular and detailed Technical Design Audits on working drawings schemes. Our client is offering the flexibility to attend the Chorley office 3 days per week to work on Healthcare projects. The selected candidate will collaborate with the design team to deliver exciting interior design concepts and solutions.
