ARCHITECT

London | Contract
£35 - £45 per Hour

Join a team shaping the future of architecture, nurturing brilliance and an operational legacy. Our client, a specialist engineering company, is seeking an experienced Architect to demonstrate their multitude of skills and talents across a variety of Rail projects. The client offers a long-term programme of work starting on a 6-month contract based out of their main London office. -Competitive hourly rate of £35-£45 (subject to experience). -Hybrid office based working arrangement. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee detailed architectural design proposals for a variety of Rail projects, from concept and feasibility through to design. -Create concise technical drawings, models, construction documentation, and specifications, following current regulations and policies. -Liaise with multidisciplinary consultants to efficiently implement all elements of constructability maintenance, design, and performance reports and reviews. -Build and maintain rapport with clients, allowing for effective communication, to present design concepts, respond to feedback, and maintain overall quality. -Conduct site visits and propose solutions for any on-site challenges or concerns, whilst supporting contractor supervision when necessary. CIVIL SITE MANAGER

Oxford | Contract
£500 - £600 per Day

Are you a Civil Site Manager and ready for the next step in your career? Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Civil Site Manager to join a leading infrastructure company, in a contract position. Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s site in Oxford, in which you will be responsible for a leading variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring that projects are completed in a safe and timely manner, keeping to budgets, and maintaining a high level of quality. -Competitive day rate ranging from £500-£600 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: - Direct and coordinate all site operations, including labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials, ensuring efficient delivery from start to finish. -Ensure that all projects comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. -Keep up-to-date and accurate records, safety documentation, and reports of all site activities. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to find solutions for any project issues, and to ensure the project is progressing well. - Ensure all as-built drawings and documentation are completed for a smooth project handover. DESIGN MANAGER

Within this role, you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Derby, but our client will consider candidates located in Kent and East Sussex. You will be responsible for managing all design processes within a variety of Water Treatment projects. -Competitive salary of £70,000-£85,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. COMPETENT PERSON

Are you an experienced Competent Person with a drive for career progression? We are working with a specialist utilities contractor who are offering one talented individual the opportunity to join their organisation, on a 7-month contract basis. The chosen candidate will be working on-site from our client’s office, located near Leeds. Build your expertise with this opportunity to manage and oversee the ongoing works within a HV substation project. -Competitive day rate ranging between £320-£350 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Act as the assigned Competent Person on a HV substation, overseeing all works, ensuring that operational standards and procedures are being followed. -Observe and ensure that all works are being carried out accurately and in line with industry standards, legislation, and best practices. -Analyse and confirm method statements, documentation, safe systems of work (SSoW), and risk assessment, ensuring all work permits are valid and in place. -Support professional teams, project staff, and subcontractors with technical guidance, allowing for anomalies and issues to be identified and resolved. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure up to date and accurate reports and site documentation, whilst assisting with audit and compliance surveys. -Maintain awareness of ongoing industry standards and processes, offer system improvement opportunities, and training to allow for improved project performance. Requirements: -Extensive experience as a Competent Person, or a related role, with the relevant accreditation, ideally working on projects centred around HV substations. -Must possess NG Persons accreditation, as well as CP NSI 6 and NSI 8. -Strong technical background, with an understanding of relevant electrical, civils, utilities, or related systems, with a grasp of key legislations, regulations, and standards. -Effective communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate with site professionals, clients, stakeholders, and contractors. -Solid interpreting skills with regards to drawings, method statements, specifications, and documents, with the ability to resolve any arising issues. -Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple concurrent site tasks and activities, with an understanding of how to prioritise tasks. -Possession of a full UK driving license, with the willingness to travel when required. CAD TECHNICIAN

Within this position, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Water and Wastewater projects, leading and managing our client’s design team. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the production and delivery of 3D model designs and BIM systems for a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects. -Introduce and maintain BIM workflows, strategies, and standards to allow for the project to follow high quality and consistency throughout. -Guide and mentor the design team, consisting of CAD and BIM technicians, providing ongoing training and support. -Collaborate with numerous professionals, ranging in disciplines, to allow for an effective integration of design specifications, whilst conducting clash detection tests. -Review models and designs, providing feedback and guidance, to allow for quality, health and safety, specification alignment, and compliance to be maintained. -Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all projects works and promote development across BIM deliverables.
