STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Attention all Structural Engineers! We are looking for a contract Structural Engineer to join a leading Civil and Structural Contractor who operate across multiple sectors including, education, healthcare and commercial. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to operate on a remote basis whilst working on exciting industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: -Carry out structural design and analysis. -Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of structural solutions. -Participate in project planning, risk management, and design reviews. -Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. BIM COORDINATOR

Our client is looking for a motivated and highly experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join their team in a contract role. The successful candidate will work from a Glasgow office on a hybrid basis. Our client is a specialist in MEP Engineering, delivering reliable and efficient building systems across diverse sectors. Key Responsibilities: -Support and coordinate BIM delivery for MEP projects in line with client and industry standards. -Manage and maintain federated models and project data environments. -Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project workflows, and quality standards. -Collaborate with design engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure data consistency and model accuracy. -Assist with clash detection, reporting, and resolution using tools such as Navisworks. DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

This position will require you to work in the client’s office four days a week in Newcastle, with one day a week working remotely from home, working on an exciting large shipyard project. As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for all document control functions ensuring compliance with the company’s and client’s requirements. Our client: As a large, multi-disciplinary consultancy, our client specialises in providing civil and structural design expertise across a range of infrastructure projects in the UK. The consultancy has profound experience in a variety of sectors, including energy, aviation and urban development. What you will be responsible for: -Effectively communicate with project management, clients and sub-contractors, to ensure that information is distributed and managed correctly. -Solve problems relating to documentation, information and associated data. -Define and develop project document reports and statistics. -Ensure the correct implementation and use of document management processes, systems, and tools. -Appropriately process and store project documentation within internal server. HV DESIGN ENGINEER

Attention all HV Electrical Design Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join one of our leading clients Power Transmission/Distribution team. This is an opportunity for a highly capable and motivated specialist HVDC engineers with an eye for detail, to support and inspire the team on a variety of power system projects. This role offers hybrid working from their Manchester office, with the option to consider locations in Glasgow, London, or Birmingham. Key Responsibilities of your role: -Design and analysis of HVDC systems, including converter stations and substations. -Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, focusing on safety and efficiency. -Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate HVDC systems with electrical and civil infrastructure. -Work with clients to define requirements and provide technical guidance. -Create technical documentation, including design reports and specifications. What we are looking for: -PhD, MSc, MEng or BEng degrees in Electrical Engineering /Electrical Power Systems or similar. -Experience with high-voltage power systems. -Knowledge of UK and international grid connection processes and Grid Codes. -Client and project management experience. -In-depth understanding of HVDC technologies and converter station designs. -Proven experience in HVDC projects, including interconnectors and onshore/offshore schemes. -Strong background in HVDC system studies, with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. -Chartered Engineer or working towards IET chartership is preferable.
