MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

London | Contract
£40 - £44 per Hour

Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join an international engineering design consultancy on a long-term contract basis. As the successful candidate you will have the opportunity to work on a mixture of exciting CAT A Commercial fit-out projects and will ideally have experience working on similar projects. -Hourly rate from £40-£44 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement (3 days a week in the London office). Key Responsibilities: -Developing detailed mechanical design drawings. -Supporting concept generation and mechanical feasibility studies. -Conducting design calculations and simulations where required. -Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements. -Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards. -Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team. What we are looking for: Essential: -A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. -Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering. -Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills. -A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation. ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

£45,000 - £62,500 per Annum

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a global water and wastewater engineering company, in a permanent position. Our client is looking for candidates at an engineering level to senior level. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) from our client’s office in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of water and wastewater projects with an experienced and motivated team. -Competitive salary ranging from £45,000-£62,500 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working, generous holiday allowance (plus bank holidays), and company contributory pension scheme. Key Responsibilities: -Design and develop electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment projects. -Produce detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation. -Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements. -Work closely with other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders. -Support site visits, commissioning, and timely delivery of design projects. CIVIL ENGINEER

£40 - £45 per Hour

Attention all Civil Engineers! We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy, in a contract role. You will be required to work in a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days a week in one of our clients’ offices covering across the midlands, southwest and north areas of England. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting infrastructure projects, with a motivating and experienced team. Key Responsibilities: -Contribute to the delivery of small to medium infrastructure projects by producing high-quality, technically sound designs that meet relevant standards and codes. -Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary design team while managing your time efficiently and adhering to quality and technical assurance procedures. -Work in compliance with BIM standards, the Digital Plan of Work, and the project-specific BIM Execution Plan.
