ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

London | Contract
£40 - £45 per Hour

Blueprint Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity on offer for a skilled Architectural Technician to join a well-established engineering and nuclear consultancy, on a 6-month contract basis. Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s London office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Defence projects, as a part of a skilled and motivated team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£45 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce concise architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and specifications using BIM or CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit. -Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify and find solutions for any design and constructability concerns and challenges. -Develop designs with a focus on material specification, integration of building systems, and full compliance with current building policies and regulations. -Create and survey project specifications, documentation, and schedules. -Conduct site visits to allow for project inspection and monitoring whilst ensuring that all construction follows the design specifications. -Ensure project quality by inspecting drawing packages, resolving concerns, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of all works taking place. BIM COORDINATOR

London | Contract
£300 - £360 per Day

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking a seasoned BIM Coordinator to join a major Tier 1 contractor, on a 6-month initial contract, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site from our client’s three London sites. You will have the opportunity to work on 3 large-scale, exciting commercial projects, as a valued member of a skilled team. -Competitive day rate ranging from £300-£360 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Oversee BIM design models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ensuring the designs meet the project requirements. -Conduct clash detection tests to find complications, and problems, and ensure that the models follow project specifications and the BIM Execution Plan. -Make sure that models are concise and that documentation is organised efficiently in the Common Data Environment. -Run regular quality checks to ensure that the design models comply with client and project requirements. -Organise coordination meetings to discuss and find solutions for any design and/or model issues and challenges. -Attend site visits to make sure the project is progressing effectively and efficiently. Requirements: -Prior experience as a BIM Coordinator, or a related role, preferably in refurbishment -Strong technical background, with previous experience of using software tools such as Revit, Navisworks and Revizto. -Experience of working with clash detection systems and COBie data systems. -Solid grasp of current BIM standards, regulations and policies. -Ability to manage and process BIM models accurately. -Strong communicator with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. PLANNER

Bristol | Permanent
£55,000 - £75,000 per Annum

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for multiple experienced Planners to join a leading utilities contractor, in a permanent position. The successful applicant will be required to work 3 days a week, on-site, from each of our client’s sites in Bristol, Pembroke, Indian Queens, Melksham and Cowley. You will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of Utilities and Power projects, with a large focus on Distribution and Transmission. -Competitive salary ranging from £55,000-£75,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, paid travel expenses, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. SENIOR MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site from our client’s office near Portsmouth. You will be responsible for working on the maintenance and improvement of our client’s water treatment works and network distribution assets, in this hands-on role. -Competitive salary ranging from £43,020-£48,102 (depending on experience) -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

£600 - £750 per Day

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering and professional services firm, on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a regional client office, 1-2 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects, as a part of a highly skilled team. -Competitive day rate of £600-£750 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce concise electrical designs, layouts, feasibility reports, and cost estimations for Primary and Grid substations. -Create detailed specifications and designs for substation and new build projects, with an inclusion of switchgear, transformers, and battery systems. -Analyse designs, from both colleagues and suppliers, to ensure that they follow industry standards, client needs, and legislation. -Step into both Principal and/or CDM designer roles, ensuring that health and safety risks are identified and dealt with. -Assist with project delivery by conducting site visits, integrating design changes, and ensuring the project complies with quality, programme, and commercial goals. -Build and maintain rapport with clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the project’s lifespan.
