STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

London | Contract

Our client has an ongoing commitment to the delivery of operational brilliance and would like a skilled Structural Engineer to continue their mission. This leading engineering, architecture, construction, and environmental consultancy are offering a contract role, outside IR35, with the opportunity to work from their London office, on a hybrid basis. Responsibilities: -Oversee detailed structural design production and development, from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with UK industry standards, and key regulations. -Create, develop, and review drawings, structural elements and components, and sketches for a range of multidisciplinary projects. -Liaise with CAD technicians and professionals, ensuring the production and development of precise drawings, in line with client requirements. -Ensure the implementation of current structural engineering regulations, codes, and principles, whilst collating project data through in-depth research. -Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective and transparent communication, whilst ensuring professional representation is maintained. -Assemble relevant information and data to present to clients and key stakeholders, whilst conducting administrative activities and performance reviews. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with an attained chartered status, or actively working towards one. -7+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer, or a similar position, working within a consultancy environment, with an understanding of relevant processes and techniques. -Significant technical background, with an understanding of relevant software tools, such as Tekla, ETABS, BIM platforms (Revit, Navisworks and ACC), and Microsoft Office. -Extensive experience with seismic design production, steel structures, and the production of detailed drawings for a range of projects, ideally EMEA. -Strong and effective communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain rapport with project teams, and a willingness to travel across the UK and internationally. BIM MANAGER

£50,000 - £80,000 per Annum

Our client, a leading Built Environment consultancy, are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to bring their skills and expertise to a permanent role. This role offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s London office whilst contributing to a variety of Data centre projects. CIVIL SITE MANAGER

Are you a Civil Site Manager and ready for the next step in your career? Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s site in Oxford, in which you will be responsible for a leading variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring that projects are completed in a safe and timely manner, keeping to budgets, and maintaining a high level of quality. -Competitive day rate ranging from £500-£600 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: - Direct and coordinate all site operations, including labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials, ensuring efficient delivery from start to finish. -Ensure that all projects comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. -Keep up-to-date and accurate records, safety documentation, and reports of all site activities. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to find solutions for any project issues, and to ensure the project is progressing well. - Ensure all as-built drawings and documentation are completed for a smooth project handover. DESIGN MANAGER

Within this role, you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Derby, but our client will consider candidates located in Kent and East Sussex. CAD TECHNICIAN

We have an exciting new opportunity, here at Blueprint Recruitment, for a skilled CAD Technician to join a leading engineering firm, in a permanent position. Within this position, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Water and Wastewater projects, leading and managing our client’s design team. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the production and delivery of 3D model designs and BIM systems for a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects. -Introduce and maintain BIM workflows, strategies, and standards to allow for the project to follow high quality and consistency throughout. -Guide and mentor the design team, consisting of CAD and BIM technicians, providing ongoing training and support. -Collaborate with numerous professionals, ranging in disciplines, to allow for an effective integration of design specifications, whilst conducting clash detection tests. -Review models and designs, providing feedback and guidance, to allow for quality, health and safety, specification alignment, and compliance to be maintained. -Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all projects works and promote development across BIM deliverables.
