RESIDENT ENGINEER

Wiltshire | Contract
£475 - £525 per Day

Are you a Resident Engineer and ready for the next step in your professional career? Join our client’s leading utilities contractor organisation, on a 6-month contract basis, in which the chosen applicant will be required to work on-site from this organisation’s site office in Wiltshire. Within this role, you will gain the opportunity to enhance and develop your portfolio by working on a complex, large-sale National Grid project, working within the Power and Energy sectors. -Competitive day rate of £475-£525 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Take the role of senior site representative, allowing for successful and efficient delivery of all works, meeting project requirements. -Observe and maintain health and safety, CDM, and environmental compliance with all on-site works, conducting audits, inspections, and corrective solutions when required. - Use total stations, GPS, and levels to establish control points and precisely set out site features. -Maintain up to date records of the development and progression, budgets, risk, and quality of all project works, whilst finding and resolving any issues or deviations. -Oversee quality assurance and all commissioning procedures, allowing for transparent documentation, as built reports, and client’s approval to be provided during handover. - Optimise cost and schedule performance by supporting change management, mitigating claims, and delivering added value through effective collaboration. DESIGN CAD ENGINEER 2D 3D BIM

£30,000 - £45,000 per Annum

Our client is looking for an experienced CAD Engineer to drive and promote innovation and brilliance within the Water sector. Joining in a permanent position, within our client’s leading civil engineering firm, you would be expected to work on-site from our client’s Wakefield office. This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to play a crucial role in the creation and development of several Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects, as an invaluable member of a skilled workforce. -Competitive salary of £30,000-£45,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR

London | Permanent
£80,000 - £90,000 per Annum

Discover and enhance your talents as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, as a part of our client’s engineering, construction, and consulting organisation, in a permanent position. The chosen individual will be expected to work on a hybrid basis, from one of our client’s three sites, all located near London. Within this position, you will have the opportunity to expand your portfolio with a variety of Water and Water Treatment projects, as an invaluable member of our client’s Commercial team. -Competitive salary ranging from £80,000-£90,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, health and life insurance, generous annual leave, car or car allowance, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Lead and manage a variety of Water and Water Treatment projects, ranging from £5m-£20m in value, from start to finish. -Oversee a team of professional Quantity Surveyors, allowing for strong ongoing performance and progression within the team and the organisation. -Take accountability for the project administration, with a focus on payment processes and applications, early warnings through CEMAR, and variations. -Direct all forecasting, reporting, and procurement procedures, looking into CVRs, cash flow, and margin development plans. -Develop and maintain rapport with clients, and other professionals, ensuring the prevention of all unapproved costs and risks. -Host and attend frequent sit visits and senior management meetings, allowing for full compliance and alignment with commercial policies and procedures. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, or a similar discipline such as Civil Engineering or Project Management. -Working towards, or at, a chartered status of CICES and/or RICS is ideal. -Extensive experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, or a related position, with an understanding of effective team and project management and leadership. -Impressive portfolio of previous works within the Utilities, MEICA, and Civil Engineering sectors, with previous IChemE experience. REVIT TECHNICIAN

This role will require you to work on a remote basis, in which all works completed will be centred around our client’s Newcastle office. This invaluable opportunity is offering you the chance to be actively involved in the development of several Data Centre projects. -Competitive hourly rate of £33-£38 (depending on experience). -Remote working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce, develop and maintain in-depth Revit 3D models, with an inclusion of setting up and maintaining families, schedules, sheets, views, and annotations. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary professional teams to ensure models all align with the agreed requirements, resolve issues, and maintain model integrity. -Create concise drawings, elevations, sections, and specifications, at a high standard, with the use of Revit models, maintaining compliance with project plans. -Support the implementation of BIM standards, quality assurance procedures, and all workflows, whilst guaranteeing compliance with client and company BIM principles. -Assist with the design and documentation stages, supporting the internal teams, by working on visualisations, revisions, as-built updates and mark-ups. Requirements: -Extensive experience as a Revit Technician, preferably with an understanding of Civil and Structural systems, with Data Centre project experience. -Strong Revit, ACC, and BIM360 experience and skill, with the knowledge of model production, view setup, family management, annotation, and scheduling. -Solid understanding of BIM systems and processes, with a focus on clash detection, version control, and model verification. -Effective communicator, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. -Proficient attention to detail, with strong organisational skills, and an ability to manage time, and prioritise workload, effectively. ME SITE MANAGER

As the successful candidate, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s office, located near Wiltshire. Within this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a variety of Mechanical and Electrical projects, leading a team of professionals throughout. -Competitive day rate ranging from £550-£650 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements.
