ASSOCIATE CIVIL ENGINEER

London | Permanent
£50,000 - £75,000 per Annum

Looking for a role that’ll challenge you and your skills and expertise? Our client is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join their innovative water industry engineering consultancy, on a permanent basis, and continue their mission towards operational brilliance. This opportunity will take place from our client’s main office in London, where in which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, producing high-quality works for a range of projects, with a large focus on water and wastewater systems. -Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £75,000 (subject to experience). -Company pension scheme, hybrid working arrangement, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage the design, development, and delivery of a variety of water and wastewater projects, following from initial concept through to design establishment. -With the support of relevant software tools, assemble and maintain project documentation, specifications, reports, calculations, and detailed drawings. -Liaise with project professionals, establishing and reviewing concise civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with client requirements and efficient solution integration. -Direct frequent site visits and inspections to support works throughout the construction stage, ensuring the design intent is being followed accurately. -Nurture business development by ensuring health and safety compliance, quality assurance, and ongoing progression, whilst maintaining industry best practices. -Act as a representation of the business within meetings, workshops, design reviews, whist supporting business growth through proposals and bids. ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to bring their expertise to a leading engineering consultancy, on a contract basis, outside IR35. Our client is offering a hybrid working arrangement, for the chosen candidate, to create detailed electrical system designs, for a variety of Shell and Core and Commercial projects, from their office, near Reading. -Competitive hourly rate of £40-£45 (subject to experience). -Hybrid working arrangement. Responsibilities: -Produce in-depth electrical system designs, across a range of Shell and Core and Commercial projects, from concept through to implementation. -Assemble and develop detailed drawings, specifications, layout, and model coordination, for electrical systems, using BIM workflows and other relevant tools. -Work alongside industry professionals (engineers, contractors, and clients), resolving issues and queries, whilst integrating ongoing edits and changes to designs and plans. -Ensure relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards are being met within all works, whilst maintaining sustainability, operational efficiency, and accuracy. -Nurture project development initiatives, aiming to improve design processes, strategies, and standards, ensuring ongoing consistency and quality. BIM COORDINATOR

Are you a skilled BIM Coordinator and looking for more? Join a lead engineering consultancy within the infrastructure and transportation sector, on a 12-month contract basis, to drive and support the delivery, coordination, and management of a range of infrastructure and transport projects. This position offers hybrid working into the London office. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £35 to £47 (depending on experience). -Office based working arrangement. Responsibilities: -Oversee all site coordination works, across a range of high-profile transport and infrastructure projects nationwide, ensuring BIM standards are being followed. -Lead and support multidisciplinary professional teams, providing ongoing guidance on all coordination works, whilst also assisting with the resolution of issues and queries. -Manage the production, development, and implementation of detailed BIM models and designs, ensuring alignment with ISO19650 and BIM Execution Plan requirements. -Support design validation, oversee the federation of models and designs, and ensure clash coordination processes, whilst ensuring alignment with agreed digital workflows. -Monitor and maintain information exchange workflows, model assurance and compliance, and digital quality assurance (QA), ensuring efficiency and accuracy. -Contribute to the development and implementation of internal BIM and information-management standards, supporting delivery process advancements.
