SITE ENGINEER

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed accurately, safely and in accordance with the required designs and specifications. Working closely with the wider delivery team, you will provide technical support on site, coordinate engineering activities and help resolve issues as they arise throughout construction. Key Responsibilities · Manage Site and Technology Engineers and work closely with members of the wider delivery team. · Ensure designated workstreams are correctly market out on site and that the necessary permits to work are in place. · Coordinate site surveys and ensure appropriate records are maintained · Work alongside Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and suppliers to coordinate and review safe systems of work and daily diaries, production control schedules and photographs · Review drawings and raise technical queries with the design team where required. · Provide technical guidance and support to ensure works are delivered safely and correctly. · Guide, mentor and support junior members of the team. What We’re Looking For You will need notable delivering infrastructure projects in a site-based engineering role, alongside a strong understanding of construction processes and site safety. You should also have: · A Civil Engineering-related qualification, such as an HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, Beng or Meng. · SMSTS · First Aid · Strong written and verbal communication skills · The confidence and experience to mentor and develop junior staff Experience working on a similar project would be beneficial but is not essential. Qualifications or training in Appointed Person/lifting operations, Mental Health First Aid or Fire Marshalling would also be advantageous. If you've reached the point in your Health & Safety career where you want to shape how safety is led, not simply manage compliance, this is a role worth considering. We're looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing professional to take a senior regional position across a major highway’s operation. You'll have influence across multiple contracts, projects and operational teams, working closely with senior leadership while developing the people around you and driving a genuinely proactive approach to safety and wellbeing. This is a role with visibility. You'll be trusted to challenge where necessary, influence decisions and make sure lessons learned in one part of the business improve performance elsewhere. What does the role look like? You'll lead Health, Safety & Wellbeing across the region, providing direction to operational teams and supporting senior management with the decisions that shape HSW performance. That includes strengthening governance and risk management, overseeing audits and assurance, analysing performance trends and taking the lead when significant incidents or issues arise. You'll also be responsible for developing HSW teams, building relationships with clients and regulators, and helping embed improvements across multiple contracts rather than treating safety as a box-ticking exercise. You’ll probably suit this role if you Hold a NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent Are CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status Have senior HSW or SHEQ leadership experience across multi-site operations Know how to lead incident investigations and root cause analysis Can influence senior stakeholders, clients and operational teams Have experience developing and leading high-performing teams Understand how strong HSW decisions support wider commercial and operational performance Infrastructure experience is particularly relevant, with the position sitting within a major highway’s, Rail, Defence, and Aviation portfolio. We're looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of works at a 400kV substation. You'll work closely with the Site Manager, providing SR163 cover when required and supervising site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Advisor to support the delivery of major infrastructure and construction projects. The Role As the Environmental Advisor in this role, you will be joining an established company looking to rapidly grow its own in house environmental capability. You will provide environmental support across major infrastructure and construction projects, working closely with project teams, contractors, clients and stakeholders. Undertake site inspections, audits, monitoring / identifying environmental risks, ensure compliance with legislation and project requirements, and support the implementation of effective environmental management plans and controls.
