Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we’re looking for a talented BIM Technician to become a key part of our client’s dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading M&E Contractor on a range of education, commercial and hotel projects whilst commuting to their London office on a hybrid basis. The Role As a BIM Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the MEP design, coordination, and delivery of projects using industry-leading BIM processes and tools. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams of all disciplines to ensure accurate and efficient model production. Revit MEP Technician – As-Built / Record Drawings (Contract) Location: London (Site-Based – 5 Days per Week) Rate: £38–£40 per hour (Outside IR35) Job Type: Contract – Initial 3 Months Hours: 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Revit MEP Technicians to support the delivery of a major healthcare building services project in London, focusing on as-built and record drawing production. This role will involve working on a large-scale hospital development, supporting the completion of MEP as-built drawings and BIM model updates across mechanical, electrical and drainage systems. The successful Revit MEP Technicians will work closely with engineers on-site, using mark-ups and site information to update and coordinate detailed Revit models and technical drawings. This is a site-based role, requiring 5 days per week on-site in London. Key Responsibilities As a Revit MEP Technician, your responsibilities will include: Producing and updating as-built drawings and record models using Revit MEP Coordinating MEP BIM models across mechanical, electrical and drainage systems Working from engineer mark-ups and site information to update drawings Supporting the delivery of a full MEP package including drainage systems Liaising with engineers and site teams to ensure accurate model updates Maintaining high standards of BIM coordination and data accuracy Ensuring drawings and models reflect installed systems and site conditions Supporting project delivery within programme deadlines Requirements To be considered for this Revit MEP Technician role, candidates should have: Proven experience working as a Revit MEP Technician or BIM Technician Strong experience producing as-built drawings and record models Experience working within building services or MEP projects Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP Experience working with mechanical, electrical and drainage systems Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment Strong communication and coordination skills Experience working on healthcare or large-scale construction projects would be beneficial.
