An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an international building services consultancy supporting the delivery of major mission-critical and data centre projects. This Mechanical Design Engineer role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering technically complex mechanical building services designs across large-scale data centre developments. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll contribute to projects from concept through to construction while supporting technically demanding mission-critical environments. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in the design and delivery of major data centre developments, working closely with project teams, attending site visits and developing innovative mechanical engineering solutions. The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be involved in: Delivering mechanical building services designs for major data centre projects Producing detailed mechanical calculations, reports and technical specifications Supporting projects from concept design through to construction Designing HVAC, cooling, ventilation and associated mechanical systems for mission-critical environments Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop coordinated design solutions Attending site visits across London and supporting project delivery Producing accurate technical documentation and responding to design queries Supporting the successful delivery of high-value mission-critical developments Ensuring designs comply with project requirements, industry standards and client specifications This Mechanical Design Engineer position offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging data centre developments while supporting projects throughout the full design lifecycle. This Commissioning Manager role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical background who enjoys leading commissioning activities, managing stakeholders and ensuring complex building services systems are successfully delivered through testing, commissioning and handover phases.
