We're looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer to take a technical lead role on a major infrastructure programme in Cumbria.
You'll lead a small engineering team and act as the client-side Responsible Engineer, supporting recabling works, a new substation and associated civil works connected to the Sellafield programme.
The role requires site attendance in Cumbria 2–3 days per week.

What we're looking for Chartered Engineer status – essential Strong Civil Engineering background Experience with substations, cabling or utilities infrastructure Experience within Nuclear, Rail, Oil & Gas, Utilities or another regulated environment Previous technical leadership / checking experience Eligible to obtain SC Clearance Able to commute to the Cumbria site 2–3 days per week
The opportunity
£60–£70 per hour, Inside IR35, on an initial 6-month contract, working on a major regulated infrastructure programme with significant technical responsibility.
