An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading Building Services consultancy delivering major life sciences and laboratory developments across the UK. This Electrical Design Engineer role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing complex electrical building services systems for highly serviced, technically demanding environments. You'll join a multidisciplinary team delivering large-scale life sciences projects from concept through to construction, working alongside some of the UK's leading contractors and design teams. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will play a key role in the delivery of high-value laboratory and research facilities, contributing to innovative engineering solutions across technically challenging developments. What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong Building Services background. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a Building Services consultancy Strong electrical building services design experience Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA design stages Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams The following would be highly advantageous: Experience working on life sciences, laboratory, healthcare or other technically complex Building Services projects Experience working with major contractors or multidisciplinary consultancies Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership Why Apply?
